Stuck in the mud
I've been stuck on some socks. I'm generally a one at a time knitter (is that supposed to be 'an one' because that does not sound right!) but lately I'm not.
I messed with some sock yarn several times to finally get the fit I wanted. I'm halfway down the foot and not inspired at all to finish it. Using the same yarn in a different colorway I'm still having trouble. I like my socks to fit tightly, no slouch for me. But I'm quite sure that this sock is not going to be tight enough for my tastes.
So I stuffed them both in a box and have worked several other projects. Simple things that required little thought.

A tiny soaker
And now a slightly bigger soaker I just started tonight.
Knitting is supposed to be fun so that's what I'll make it. I'll either frog the socks later or give them to someone with big ankles.
