One day = One anklet

I had some leftover yarn but not enough for a full pair of socks. Unsure if I even have enough for two whole anklets, these have a contrast toe.



The fit was just what I was looking for

Some stash busting hats

A few hats to use up some extra yarn.

The hand dyed is just some fishermans's leftover from some socks that I eventually felted and dd wears as slippers.

The blue is Knit Picks WOTA leftover from ds' sweater.

Rayne's Socks finished!

I cast on and finished the first one in one night. Granted I stayed up till 2 am. I cast on at 9 pm and knit on and off till 10 when ds fell asleep, then nearly straight through till 2 am when I realized it was so late and I should go to bed.





Cherry Tree Hill Supersport in Java

I altered the pattern from a child's sock by simply using bigger yarn and needles with more pattern repeats in the foot to get the right length. I also did a short row heel. Someday I'll learn a heel flap but probably on a child's sock so I can do it on a smaller scale first.
